Bosnia Design Workshop — studiosideproject

Sameena was invited, through a US State Department Program, to lead a deign workshop with high school students in Banja Luka and Bjelina, Bosnia in 2019. The workshop centered around how to use design as a tool for change and concepts of participatory design for high school students. Over the course of the workshop, using recycled materials, the students designed and built small "parkets" that held air quality monitors and used graphics on the pieces to draw attention to the poor air quality in their towns.
