Bosnia Design Workshop — studiosideproject

Banja Luka + Bjelina, Bosnia Design Workshop

In 2019, Sameena was invited by the US State Department, to lead a design workshop with high school students in Banja Luka and Bjelina, Bosnia. The workshop centered around how to use design as a tool for change and concepts of participatory design for high school students. Over the course of the workshop, using recycled materials, the students designed and built small "parkets" that held air quality monitors and used graphics on the pieces to draw attention to the poor air quality in their towns.
